Anne-Linda Camerini, lecturer and researcher at the Institute of Public Health of the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences at Università della Svizzera italiana (USI), has recently been listed in the prestigious AcademiaNet database. This recognition was achieved through the endorsement of the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), which is backing the project in collaboration with the Robert Bosch Foundation and other prominent European research institutions.

Launched in 2010 by the Robert Bosch Foundation and currently managed by the SNSF with the support of Spektrum der Wissenschaft, AcademiaNet promotes female excellence in academia with the aim of counteracting the under-representation of women in leadership and decision-making roles in European academic workplaces where women still make up only 26% of the faculty.

The AcademiaNet database features profiles of over 4,000 female researchers from Europe and beyond, who have been selected through rigorous criteria by 43 partner scientific organisations. This resource simplifies identifying female experts for scientific committees, conferences, and nomination procedures, contributing to increased inclusion and representation of women in senior roles.
