MicThera
MicThera is a spin-off company of IOR - Institute of Oncology Research (affiliated to USI), that develops pharmacological treatments for prostate cancer that help standard therapies work better and delay the development of severe forms of the disease. The patent protected technology has been discovered at the laboratory of Prof. Andrea Alimonti and leverages microbial-derived therapeutics, harnessing the power of beneficial microorganisms to create innovative treatments and novel therapeutic strategies that prevent resistance in Prostate Cancer treatment.
MicThera has been awarded with the first place at the Boldbrain competition 2022.
