Specialisation in Culture and Communication Technologies
Students in this specialisation are introduced to the communication activities of cultural institutions working in the field of arts and entertainment, to the interpretation of cultural heritage and its presentation to audiences with different cultures. Particular attention is paid to the use of digital technologies for the enhancement of cultural heritage and to marketing in the cultural field, as well as to initiate contact with local, national and international institutions dealing with culture. In addition to the advanced B2 English language, this specialisation requires the acquisition of 3 ECTS in language Skills in French or German, in order to lower the entry barrier to the Swiss labour market.
Students in this specialisation may obtain a double degree from the University of Pisa. At the end of the course, they will receive a USI Bachelor's degree and a three-year degree in Performing Arts and Communication Disciplines (B.Sc.) from the University of Pisa. To do this, they will have to attend the fifth semester at the University of Pisa, following an ad hoc programme.
Director of the specialisation: Prof. Lorenzo Cantoni ([email protected])
