Professor Hannawa appointed ambassador of Uri

The State Council of Canton Uri has appointed 45 new ambassadors and ambassadresses. Professor Annegret Hannawa from USI Faculty of Communication, Culture and Society is among them.
The Uri Ambassadors Network is a group of individuals from various fields, such as business, culture, sport, politics, and science. It was established almost 20 years ago by the State Council to create a platform for people who are actively committed to the future and development of Canton of Uri.
The new members were welcomed into the ambassadorial community at a ceremony on 17 November 2023. Personalities included extreme mountaineer Dani Arnold, Federal Court Judge Marcel Maillard, actor Rolf Sommer, skier Aline Danioth and politician Heidi Z'graggen.
