The House of Sustainability at USI has recently opened and has brought together many students who share a desire for change. As a result of this shared interest, a new student association for sustainability named SEEDS (Students Engaged in Environment, Development, and Sustainability) has been established.

A group of students decided to get together and create a new student association to promote sustainable development through a multidisciplinary approach to raise awareness.

The association's flagship event will be Sustainability University Week Switzerland. It is a national event that encourages public participation and collaboration between students, institutions, and companies to discuss energy transition, sustainable development, and climate change. The week-long event will witness students bringing their projects, ideas, companies, and key players in the transition we are experiencing, to share their hopes and concerns.

In addition to this event, there will be thought-provoking activities such as theatre, cinema, lectures, participation in fairs and courses that will generate contacts and knowledge in the world of emerging sustainability-oriented jobs in order to help students who want to work in this field to better prepare themselves for the post-graduate period.
