With the funding program in forestry, the foundation wants to contribute to this challenge by supporting solution-oriented research based on an interaction between science and practitioners.
Eligibility
- Partnerships:
- At least two project partners (PI and co-PI) required.
- One partner must be from an academic research institutio
An organization or institute can submit a maximum of two applications per call (as PI or co-PI), or all applications will be excluded.
Funding and duration
Budget up to max. CHF 100,000 per year for one to four years. Budget Categories:
- Salaries, Consumables, Equipment, Travel, Knowledge transfer (e.g., workshop organization, communication to stakeholders, conference participation) Stakeholder engagement (e.g., coordination, activities, stakeholder remuneration)
- The foundation generally does not support overhead costs.
- An explanation for each budget category needs to be provided.
Timeline of the call
Application deadline: 23 September 2024.
Final funding decisions: Expected by the end of March 2025.
