The Swiss Association for North American Studies was founded to enable Swiss scholars to be institutionally represented in the European Association for American Studies (EAAS), and it was established in 1978.
Eligibility
Applicants must be members of SANAS at the time of application. SANAS members of all ranks are eligible.
Funding and Duration
- The value of an award will be determined by the SANAS Board upon the advice of the Treasurer.
- Applicants are encouraged to apply for additional sources of funding.
- Priority will be given to requests for part-funding.
- The Board will determine the number of awards to be made in any given year, subject to available funds.
