Program

The Venture Briefing event series is designed to help students and scientists with an intent to pursue entrepreneurship take their first steps towards building a successful company.

The event features a keynote by:
Francesco Cecchini Manara, CEO & Co-Founder of Gondola Medical Technologies SA.
In 2011, Francesco and co-founder Stefano Tassin co-founded Gondola Medical Technologies, a Swiss MedTech company offering Gondola AMPS, a clinically-proven, side-effect free and non-invasive therapy to improve walking, empowering neurological patients to move better and live better. 

Previously, Francesco had been manager, CFO and investor in several companies at international level, including a company listed at the Milan stock exchange.

Francesco holds a degree in Business and Economics from Bergamo University, Italy, and has attended post-graduate courses at the University of California at Berkeley, USA.
Francesco and his team have raised several million in equity financing and grants for Gondola Medical, as well as winning the recognition of the TOP 100 Swiss Startup Award, and representing the Swiss startup delegations in Boston and China.

He will also help answer some questions during the Q&A session:

  • How to find help to bring my idea to life?
