On Thursday 7 November at 18:00 the Middle East Mediterrenean Summit is pleased to announce the film screening Retour en Alexandrie in Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public, registration required at the following link. A debate with director Tamer Rugli will follow the film.
About the plot: after twenty years, Sue must come back to her mothercountry Egypt to visit her mother Fairouz, an eccentric aristocrat from whom she has been separated for long time. This surprising journey, which will take her from Cairo to Alexandria, full with memories, nostalgia and conflicting feelings about her past, will enable Sue to become the strong, independent woman she is destined to be.
