The Leeman Foundation Prize 2015 to Evelina Bernasconi Agosti

Congratulations to our alumna Evelina Bernasconi Agosti, for winning the 2015 Felix Leeman Foundation Prize thanks to her research L'oratorio tra il XVII e il XVIII secolo, her PhD thesis carried out at USI Institute of Italian Studies.
The Felix Leeman Foundation offers scholarships to students from Ticino and the Italian speaking part of Grisons. Since 1992 the Board of Foundation, consisting of representatives of Canton Ticino and Grisons, has established a prize to reward research, especially doctoral thesis, of high cultural value.
In her work (supervised by prof. Carlo Ossola and prof. Jürgen Maedher) PhD Bernasconi Agosti has delved into the history of the oratory as a literary and musical genre. The Leeman Foundation Prize was presented on Tuesday, February 23rd 2016 at the Lugano Cantonal Library.
