An event to meet new classmates, receive unmissable USI gadgets, first-hand information on services and many practical aspects of USI, have fun and get ready to start your academic adventure in the best possible way.
New students will receive the official participation invitation during the summer. Participation is mandatory, but for organizational reasons, completing a registration form will be required.
The registration form will be available from 13 August 2024: please check your inbox, as all details will be emailed.

The Rector and the Pro-Rector for Education and Students' Experience will welcome you, and you will receive valuable information to help you navigate your first days as a first-year student at USI.
You will have the opportunity to meet the Director of your study programme and make friends with your new classmates in a relaxed atmosphere.
You will discover USI and Canton Ticino, immersing yourself in a welcoming and stimulating environment to start your university journey at its best.
