Framing a competitive future: the creative and knowledge economy in
European cities
The researchers of the EU 6th Framework Project 'Accommodating Creative
Knowledge' (ACRE) would like to welcome you to the the conference
'Framing a competitive future: the creative and knowledge economy in
European cities', 27-29 May 2010 in Barcelona.
Researchers, policy-makers (local, regional, national or European),
business and media representatives with interest in the creative and
knowledge-intensive industries and their importance for European urban
and regional development are welcome to attend!
The conference offers:
- a place to share experiences;
- debates in workshops, round tables and panel discussions;
- a platform for networking between policy-makers from different
European cities;
- a possibility for media to receive alternative views on creative and
knowledge-intensive economies;
- dissemination of information on competitiveness and creativity;
- a stimulating creative environment.
