Every two years, the P.T. Engelhorn Foundation for the Promotion of Biotechnology and Life Sciences grants a research prize. The subject is constantly connected to active, cutting edge fields in the life sciences. The competition is intended for exceptional young scholars who are already "door openers" in their disciplines.
An exceptional young scientist working in the life sciences (biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, microbiology, cell biology, systems biology, biotechnology, bioinformatics, etc.) is to be supported by this award.
Eligibility
- Candidates residing/working in Germany, Austria or Switzerland;
- Not older than 35 years;
- Researchers distinguished by academic CV and outstanding publications.
Funding and duration
Call for proposals for the 2025 Research Prize: endowed with EURO 10,000.-
Timeline of the call
Application deadline: September 7, 2024
Prize award: January 2025.
