The Institute of Computational Science is pleased to announce the "6th Workshop on parallel-in-time methods" which will be held October 23-27 at Centro Congressi Stefano Franscini at Monte Verità.
Synopsis
For the numerical simulation of dynamic processes, such as fluid flow, mechanics, or climate simulations, traditionally a sequential approach in time is used: The sought dynamics is computed step-by-step in time. Here, we discuss mathematical and numerical methods, which allow for computing these dynamics parallel-in-time, i.e. past, present, and future are simulated simultaneously.
