From the ISIS «Caliphate» to the Jihad in the West: the European Challenge

"Inside the MEM" è la componente didattica della MEM Freethinking Platform, che ha quale scopo la promozione e lo sviluppo di una maggiore comprensione della complessa situazione nella regione Medio Oriente e Mediterraneo.

Attraverso una serie di conferenze tenute dal noto politologo e orientalista Gilles Kepel, professore all’Istituto di Studi Politici (Sciences Po) di Parigi e direttore della cattedra “Medio Oriente e Mediterraneo” presso l’Université de recherche Paris Sciences et Lettres, con sede all’École Normale Supérieure, studenti, studiosi e pubblico avranno l'occasione di ritrovarsi in uno spazio comune e scambiarsi idee e visioni. Questo formato eterogeneo e transgenerazionale favorisce così un dibattito aperto su temi relativi ai disordini politici e sociali nella regione MEM, dalle primavere arabe alle crisi attuali.

Le conferenze sono aperte al pubblico e si terranno in lingua inglese.
