Business Ideas – Feel the start-up groove

Business Ideas is an event organized by USI, SUPSI and CP-Startup; part of the federal program Innosuisse start-up training. This Event is a half-day training course focusing on Entrepreneurship and addressed exclusively to university and university of applied science students.

The course will provide the participants with the possibility to meet entrepreneurs and with the opportunity to present their entrepreneurial idea through an elevator pitch. Students wanting to pitch their ideas should indicate it in the registration form. , and the selected candidates will have a few minutes to explain their idea briefly and to convince the examination board. The best idea will be awarded a price of 2’000 CHF, and feedbacks will be provided to everyone for continuing the project.

Those who wish to present their entrepreneurial idea are kindly asked to fill in the fields related to the idea description and to follow the following rules:

Elevator pitch:

• Maximum 3 minutes for the presentation
• If you want, you can use the following support: 1 slide max, 1 video max, and the prototype. In any case, the whole presentation cannot exceed 3 minutes. The slide and/or the video have to be sent at [email protected] no later than by March 31. Materials delivered after this date will not be accepted for the pitch presentation.
• Language: Italian or English
• The presentation can be held by more than one person, within the allocated time
• The ideas will be evaluated by experts, who will reward the best one
• The total award of 2'000.- Swiss francs will be divided into cash and support for the initial phase of the project implementation (further information will be given to the winner regarding the use of the award).
