An information event on funding opportunities for research projects in health, digital health, care and clinical research will take place on 9 May 2019 in Basel.
In 2019/2020 the final Calls for proposals under the European framework programme Horizon 2020 will be published. Within the “Health, Demographic Change and Wellbeing” scheme, more than 650 Million EUR of funding will be available. At this event, you will receive an overview of this funding scheme and research topics for the upcoming Calls. An experienced project winner will give a testimonial of their personal experience with preparing proposal and the evaluation process.
In addition, a short overview of the funding opportunities from the US National Institute of Health will be given as well as other “open topic” funding opportunities from the EU. A short presentation of the database Research Professional, containing funding opportunities from funding agencies worldwide is also included.
This event is co-organised by the Department of Clinical Research, Department Biomedicine and the Grants Office of the University of Basel.
