Open lecture of the course Argumentation in Conflict Resolution

An open lecture of the course Argumentation in Conflict Resolution organised by the Institute of Argumentation, Linguistics and Semiotics (IALS) in collaboration with the Lugano Film Festival of Human Rights will be held on Tuesday, 3 December 5:30 pm in class A22.

During this lesson, dedicated to conflict mediation, the documentary Ambassade, by the Swiss director Daniel Wyss, will be screened. Ambassade deals with the role of Switzerland in the resolution of the international conflict between Iran and the United States in the years between 1979 and 1981. At the end of the screening of the documentary, there will be a brief commentary debate, in relation to the theme of mediation. The film is subtitled in English and the discussion will be held in English.
