The Lugano campus cafeteria opens under new management

The Lugano campus cafeteria reopens under the new management of SV Restaurant. The company is active on a national and international level and, with its 100 years of history, brings its concept of hospitality to USI. From Monday, 17 August 2020 the team coordinated by Michele Paciello will be pleased to welcome you.
The Lugano campus cafeteria is open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm and it offers breakfast service, a choice of lunch menus (international, local and vegetarian dishes) and a wide range of take-outs. The menu will be published weekly on the website https://polo-universitario-lugano.sv-restaurant.ch/it/piano-dei-menu/campus-ovest/.
At USI, SV Restaurant will manage from the beginning the West Campus mensa and in the coming months will extend its activities to the new East Campus, where the Faculty of Informatics, the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences, SUPSI Department of Innovative Technologies, and the joint USI-SUPSI Dalle Molle Institute for Artificial Intelligence (IDSIA) will find their new home.
Founded in 1914 by Else Züblin-Spiller as a non-profit organisation under the name "Schweizer Verband Soldatenwohl", SV's initial aim was to provide soldiers with balanced and affordable meals. Today the company employs 8,500 people and manages staff and school restaurants in Switzerland, Germany and Austria.
