Open Science Day
University Library Lugano
Date: 22 November 2021 / 08:30 - 12:00
The Pro-rector for Research, in collaboration with Lugano University Lubrary, Research and Transfer Service and IT Service will launch the first workshop on Open Science and Open Research Data at USI, addressed to Professors, Researchers, PhD students and staff of the services who are directly involved in supporting research.
Research data management is becoming increasingly central to both academia and services.
What lies behind popular acronyms such as ORD and RDM?
What strategy is USI called to develop in this specific area?
What is being done nationally and internationally in this area?
Based on some concrete experiences, the aim of the meeting is to provide the basic elements to all the people who deal with research data. The event, which takes place as part of USI25, is aimed at USI employees.
