Support to Il letterificio for the workshop "LACritica"

At its sitting on 12 October, the Student Council decided to support a proposal submitted by the student association Il letterificio with 800 CHF. Il Letterificio promotes literature and humanistic culture with events, workshops and other initiatives. The proposal features the organization of a workshop on theatre critical analysis and writing in collaboration with the LAC - Lugano Arte e Cultura, its theatrical review LuganoInScena and the specialised magazine Stratagemmi – Prospettive teatrali. The workshop enables participants to attend performances, meet artists and create a dedicated publication. The credit is aimed at supporting the costs of organising three workshops with artists and experts, the shows, transport, editing and the graphic layout of the publication.
Details of the Decision
The Student Council supports the project, among other reasons, for its link with education, its educational and cultural value and its connection with the territory, in line with Corporation's aim to support the initiatives of the Student Associations.
Decision procedure
The Decision was taken by the Student Council unanimously. The credit will be made available in the form defined in concert with the University when the actual expenses associated with the project are needed.
Deadline for the Student referendum
The deadline to launch a Student Referendum against this Decision is 27 October.
