Migration phenomena, to and from our lands, have deeply marked the history of the Confederation. A new, voluminous study by André Holenstein, Patrick Kury and Kristina Schulz (recently translated into Italian and published by Armando Dadò) traverses the centuries of our common past by observing them from this special point of view.
The book will be presented at the Salita dei Frati Library on Tuesday 2 May at 6 p.m. by historians Luigi Lorenzetti, head of the Laboratory of Alpine History at USI, and Paolo Barcella, lecturer at the University of Bergamo.
