Video Essay Workshop for the Academic Staff

Within the context of the swissuniversities P-8 project “Universities as learning communities”, we are happy to announce an upcoming workshop on video essay, dedicated to the academic staff, and held by Prof. Kevin B. Lee.
The participating professors and researchers will produce a video essay using their own designated research project related to their respective field. In the workshop they will acquire and practice specific skills such as editing, audio and voice recording, and onscreen text and graphics.
To minimize possible conflicts with teaching schedules, the sessions are proposed to take place on Mondays at 16:30-18:00 in room 415 (USI Campus West, Main building). The course will be held in English. A proposed schedule is as follows:
October 2 - editing
October 16 - audio and voiceover
October 30 - onscreen text and graphics
November 13 - desktop recording
November 27 - camera recording and vlogging
