Technology Week at USI

Over twenty 3rd year students from Mendrisio High School were guests at USI Faculty of Informatics during Technology Week organised by IngCH (www.ingch.ch).
Ten girls and fifteen boys from Mendrisio High School had the opportunity to take part in the day to introduce them to programming a pulsimeter using the Arduino platform, with speakers Dr Alberto Ferrante (research lecturer) and Luca Butera (PhD student) both from Prof. Cesare Alippi's group (IDSIA), and programming Thymio robots with speakers Sasha Toscano, Matteo Ghilardini and Francesc Jordi Sacco (2nd year Bachelor students).
