Information and Communication Technologies in Education: Opportunities and challenges

The Swiss Network for International Studies organizes an event on the new opportunities and challenges in Education with the information and communication technologies.
The event will take place Monday 15 February at 17:30 at SUPSI DFA (Piazza San Francesco 19, Locarno) and it will address following questions:
What are the educational challenges posed by the digital natives? To what extent will their emergence challenge prevailing views about inter-personal communication, knowledge management and learning? What kind of educational responses have been successful so far?
What are the new opportunities for education in emergency situations and how is high-quality learning made accessible to refugees and forcibly displaced persons?
