Global STEP Summit - Thriving on chaos

We are glad to invite you at the 3rd Global STEP Summit in Lugano on the 9th, 10th and 11th of November 2017.

The theme of the conference is how family firms and entrepreneurial families can flourish in the new global disorder and impact on the global economy.

The Global STEP Summit is a unique learning experience for family businesses and the academic community involved.

This event is different from the others, because are going to be involved only family firms and academics.

The family firms are an important part of the national and global economy.

This conference is organized by Università della Svizzera italiana and STEP Project which connects family businesses and academics from the 5 continents.

We will discuss about themes as generational change, the importance of the Board of Directors and governance, recipes to thrive in times of crisis, innovation in family businesses. The fil rouge of the summit is the role and influence of family businesses in different regions of the world.

We will be lucky to be able to compete with family businesses and multigenerational family businesses, such as the  Braglia family from Helsinn Group and the Zordan family (Zordan group 1965), and many other people.

Participation is free for the Open Session that will be held on Friday, 10 November 2017 - starting from 2:30 pm where we are going to have speakers as Prof. Gianluca Colombo (Director AMC - USI) , Dr. Flavio Audemars, President of the Association of Family Enterprises Ticino AIF Ticino (www.aifticino.com), Prof. Daniela Montemerlo (Università dell'Insubria and SDA Bocconi), the major of the city of Lugano, Mr. Marco Borradori, and many other people!
