Bloomberg Lab opens on USI Lugano campus

USI has recently entered an agreement with the financial services company Bloomberg for the installation of a few of its terminals for educational purposes. The so-called ‘Bloomberg Lab’ will be located in the computer room at the 4th floor of the Main building (accessible via lifts).
An inaugural event to celebrate this new collaboration has been organised on Tuesday, October 9, at 5:30pm in the auditorium (Lugano campus), open to all students, researchers and faculty, with the following schedule:
5:30pm Welcome address from the director of the USI Institute of Finance, Prof. Francesco Franzoni
5:45pm Presentation by Dimitri Belopolski, Bloomberg London, “Get Bloomberg certified: Experiential Learning through Bloomberg integration in the syllabus & how to make the most use of a Bloomberg Lab on Campus”
6:15pm Demo of the Bloomberg Terminal
6:45pm Refreshments
