Once the selection is confirmed, both the Mentee and the Mentor must sign the Mentoring agreement and commit to adhering to the agreed terms.

  • Mentor Selection and Matching

Mentors are USI alumni who are professionally active in the field of finance.

The Mentors are selected and invited to participate by the Alumni Service in agreement with the Finance Career Board and the Master in Finance direction. USI graduates participate in the programme voluntarily and without compensation, acting in their individual capacity. If they change jobs, they will still continue in their role for the agreed-upon time with the University and their assigned mentee.

The USI alumnus/alumna agrees to share their professional experience to accompany a Master in Finance student at USI interested in starting a career in the financial sector for a period of 6 months.

The selection and matching of Mentors and Mentees are carried out by the USI Career and Alumni Service in agreement with the Master in Finance direction and the Finance Career Board.

  • Mentoring Programme Implementation

The Mentoring programme lasts for 6 months and consists of 4-5 meetings, which can be held virtually or in-person. The frequency and mode of the meetings are mutually agreed upon by the mentor and mentee. The meetings can take place in the mentee's native language or in English.

The Mentee and Mentor are invited to participate in the initial and final meetings of the Programme, organised within the Finance Career Board.

The Mentoring programme concludes with the completion of a final report by the Mentees and a feedback from the Mentors.

Each Mentee will be assigned to only one Mentor.

Students (Mentees) can participate only once in the USI Alumni in Finance Career Mentoring programme during their studies at USI.

Should the student cease to be enrolled at USI, he/she will automatically be removed from the Mentoring programme.
