Corsa della Speranza (Run for Hope) is coming to Bellinzona

For the first time ever, the Corsa della Speranza (Run for Hope) is coming to Bellinzona!
This year, the race will kick off from the stunning Castelgrande Castle and wind through the most charming streets of Bellinzona, including a special passage through Bios+, the beating heart of cancer research in Ticino.

Whether you are an experienced runner or just want to support a great cause, everyone is welcome to join!

Registration is 25 CHF for adults and 15 CHF for children. You can purchase your race tickets in advance at various locations (for details, please visit: Corsa della Speranza - Prevendita).

On the day of the event, registration opens at 10:00 AM for those who couldn’t get their tickets beforehand. The race starts at 11:30 AM from Castelgrande, and after crossing the finish line, participants will be treated to a complimentary aperitif at 12:30 PM.

All funds raised through the registration fees will be donated to the Cancer Research Foundation Ticino (Fondazione per la Ricerca sul Cancro Ticino). This Foundation supports international research projects carried out in Ticino, including some at IOR and IRB. As of today, the Cancer Research Foundation Ticino has provided support for over 200 internationally significant research projects that have taken place in Ticino, amounting to financial support of over CHF11’200’000.

Over the past 18 years, the Corsa della Speranza has raised over CHF 800’000, bringing hope to countless cancer patients and supporting vital research to find a cure.
