SFI Master Class: Opportunities in Hedge Funds - Institutional Investor Strategies
Career Service
Date: 14 June 2024 / 13:00 - 17:00
In this Master Class, advantages and disadvantages of different hedge fund investment styles are analyzed. Special attention is given to hedge funds as a diversifier for equity and fixed income markets in a rising interest rate environment. The risks and opportunities of this asset class, which is increasingly conquering the private client segment, are investigated. And we discuss the topic of diversification, including the risk of "diworsification" and how many hedge funds are really needed in a portfolio—and why the performance of hedge fund indices are so depressing.
SFI Master Classes offer seasoned banking and finance professionals a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge and share their professional views with top-level academics and industry experts in an interactive learning environment.
