"Imprenditrici si diventa", Equi-Lab's entrepreneurship training workshop, is back

Building on the success of the first "Imprenditrici si diventa", Equi-Lab is relaunching and doubling its commitment to stimulating and enhancing women entrepreneurs talent in the Canton of Ticino, once again opening the doors of its atelier, hosted at the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI). On 24 September, twenty new and aspiring women entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to cultivate their talents and bring their ideas into action.

An explorative journey in 10 stages
During a ten-week in-attendance training course (24 September - 10 December), participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the entrepreneurial process. They will explore the essential aspects of entrepreneurship, the complexities that women face in their entrepreneurial and professional experiences (such as work-life balance, gender gaps, and stereotypes), and the strategic and operational knowledge needed to develop and strengthen their business projects. The teaching approach, curated by Ajlin Dizdarevic, an expert with over 20 years of experience, is designed to be interactive, creative, and to encourage sharing experiences. It focuses on exploration, reflection, and empowerment. In addition to transferring knowledge and tools, the project aims to stimulate the participants' confidence needed to face the various challenges that may arise in the entrepreneurial adventure.

To complete the training course, the cantonal entrepreneurship support ecosystem will also be explored. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with the network of business services offered by the region and will then be able to decide who to turn to to continue with the development of their project. This aspect was highly valued by participants in the previous edition, many of whom successfully presented their projects to local incubators and began the process of accessing funding (you can find some testimonials on the website below). Furthermore, participants will be able to join the established community from the first edition of the course. This will enable them to keep in touch, track their progress, deepen their knowledge, and stay informed about entrepreneurship, all with a focus on women's empowerment.

Participation requirements and how to apply
The workshop "Imprenditrici si diventa" is for women who want to become entrepreneurs, those who are new to entrepreneurship, and women who are looking for inspiration and knowledge. It's also for anyone with a business idea but doesn't know where to begin, and those who want to improve their networking and skills.

Fluency in Italian and knowledge of the office suite (Excel, Word and Power Point) is essential. A basic knowledge of English allows to fully benefit from some recommended readings during the course. In order to ensure an interactive and engaging environment, a maximum of 20 participants are admitted. The participation fee is CHF 450. In exceptional cases and on request, a maximum of 3 scholarships will be considered.
